Senior Banquet & Graduation

Last month I completed my final days of high school. I took my last final exam, attended my senior banquet, and achieved my high school diploma at graduation. I had such an awesome last week & amazing time at senior banquet

My friends and I like to refer to this cliché photo pose as "The Dangle"
I took this pre-banquet
selfie after
 my makeup. I used Aveda
products for my foundation
& eyeliner, while featuring
colors from the first
Naked Palette by Urban Decay on
my lids.

I purchased this blue, lace dress from forever 21 for only $20

I also had a wonderful experience at my graduation. I wore a white dress from a local boutique & a coral necklace from J. Crew. I loved the cute, summery floral pattern on the dress & loved the way it looked when paired with coral accessories.

Blackbird- The Beatles (A Cappella Cover)

My friends and I put together this a cappella version of Blackbird by The Beatles. It's a little rough, but I'd thought I'd share it anyway! Enjoy :)

Sequins & Lace

Recently I made a lucky discovery at my local Salvation Army when I found this lovely shirt with a gorgeous lace peter pan collar. I purchased this shirt for only 99 cents. I decided to modernize this shirt by pairing it with a blue sequined skirt.

I really love the detail on the collar. It's just so pretty!

Outfit of the Day: The Beach!

The weather has been gorgeous the past few days! For my trip to the beach I put together a casual outfit incorporating some of my favorite summer pieces; this lovely detailed tank top from Forever 21, a fun pair of green shorts from American Eagle, and cute coral sunglasses from Aerie. As for a purse I'm carrying my blue cross body bag from the J. Crew Outlet.

Unique Thrift Store Pieces

So the other day I went on a thrifting excursion with my friend and found the coolest shirt at Goodwill. This shirt has the cutest bears on it. Unfortunately I had to leave this shirt behind, but it was seriously such a neat find.

The one thing I did purchase was this cute navy blue vest with brown flowers for $4.99. I absolutely loved the way this vest fits; I especially liked the way it looked tied in a 90s knot. I'm so excited to style this piece into my fall wardrobe!

This vest was the only piece I picked up at this particular Goodwill, but I think it was an awesome find. I'm hoping to do some more thrift store shopping really soon!
